ww2 crafting

Post by ValHallas » Wed Jun 28, 2017 9:22 pm

is there such a thing as dayz style crafting for ww2? Like maybe gathering raw materials (trees, boulders, sandbags, armor plate, etc) to build up fortifications?

And what about just having ww2 themed items to "vector build"? if youve played the liberation mod there is a whole list of things you can build around a FOB. If models exist somewhere of the correct stuff it would be great to get it in game.

Exile has crafting, does it not?

Or you mean it needs custom models?

thanks for the response kju.
I had to refresh myself with Exile i hadnt played in ages.

But yes the building system is what im looking for but the Exile backstory is all wrong. Replace dropping into nowhere scavenging without any items with spawing in with basic soldier gear at a fort, and then go brave the battlefield. Trader cities would become supply bases for raw equipment and building supplies. Get "currency" by completing missions or target supply convoys.
And ive always thought a Seabees mod would be cool.
